Within the municipality of Ragunda there are numerous apartments and houses available. They are all within easy access of schools, shops and businesses.
Hammarstrand
Hammarstrand, the chief town and home to the local government and business centre, was built on the bottom of what once was Ragunda Lake. The lake dried out in 1796 through the phenomenon of "Döda fallet" the dead fall. Hammarstrand is mostly famous for it's toboggan the only one of it's kind in Sweden.
Stugun
Stugubygden is an prosperous urban area which got its name from a cottage built in the 13th century. The cottage "själastuga" (shelter for souls) in Ragunda-forest was built by the bishop of Uppsala and used to accommodate pilgrims heading towards Nidaros (Troindheim). Stugun have a remarkable scenery with fishing and hunting as a natural element. There's also a lot of club-activities and the urban area has great potential for the future.
Bispgården
Bispgården is one of the most powerful urban areas within industry in Jämtland. With it's 1100 inhabitants it has more then 500 job-opportunities. Here you can find businesses that are internationally known. Close to Bispgården is the Thai Pavilion and the unique "Döda fallet" the Dead fall.
